Did you know that many people have cats but many people prefer to have a dog as a pet. Today I am going to convince you about why dogs make better pets than cats.

These are some pros on why people should keep a dog as a pet.

Firstly I personally think dogs are better than cats because dogs protect people from all causes and a cat just is too lazy to do the job.

Secondly dogs encourage  their owners to become fit and healthy because they have to go for regular walks. Many dogs get into a routine of walking daily and this forces the owner to take them out daily.

Thirdly dogs are cute and kind and that's when humans start to communicate and have contact with other people. Other people struggle with getting cats to go outside and they will refuse to go into water.

Fourthly Dogs can really do good for you like if you want to play with the dog it will be there and cats will do the opposite.

Another good point about dogs is  they are a helping hand to old people in a lot of ways like getting their cane and stuff.

Lastly I think dogs are loving and caring.

I think dogs are very intelligent, that's why I pick them as the better pet than a cat.
